About Blur Text

Blur Text is a privacy-focused Android and iOS app built by kajda.com Adrian Kajda. All screenshots, images, and annotations are processed locally on your device. No media content is uploaded to any servers.

Information Collection and Use

No Personal Data Collection

Blur Text does not collect, store, or transmit personal information.

We do not collect:

• Names, email addresses, or phone numbers
• Photos, screenshots, or annotations
• Location data
• Contacts
• User accounts

The app works entirely on-device.

Image & Text Processing

All blurring, pixelation, detection, annotation, and markup occur locally:

• On iOS, processing uses Apple system frameworks (such as Vision where applicable).
• On Android, processing uses on-device libraries and models.

No image, text, or detection data is transmitted externally.

Advertising

Android only

The Android version displays ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to personalize ads. Consent is collected where required by law.

iOS

The iOS version:

• Does not display ads
• Does not use AdMob
• Does not use analytics SDKs

Log Data

Android only

If the Android app crashes, anonymized diagnostic data may be collected via Firebase Crashlytics. This may include:

• Device model
• OS version
• Time of crash
• App state

iOS

The iOS version does not use Firebase, Crashlytics, or third-party analytics SDKs. Apple may collect system diagnostic data according to user device settings.

Third-Party Services

Android

The Android app may involve:

• Google Play Services
• Firebase
• Google AdMob

iOS

The iOS app uses:

• RevenueCat (to manage entitlement/subscription status only)

RevenueCat does not provide us with payment details or billing information.

Security

All processing happens locally. Your content never leaves your device. This design minimizes the risk of data exposure.

Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Your Privacy Rights

Because we do not collect personal data:

• There is no account data to access or delete
• Your content remains fully under your control
• Uninstalling the app removes all local data

App Store Payments

All purchases are processed by:

• Google Play Store (Android)
• Apple App Store (iOS)

We:

• Do not see your payment method
• Do not store billing details
• Only receive anonymous purchase confirmation

Refunds must be requested through Google or Apple.
